Joining a club
Joining a club on OpenCourt: find a club, join or ask to join, get first pick of its games, play members-only games and climb the leaderboard.
1. Find a club
- Clubs are crews, ladies' sessions and city communities that run their own games.
- Search by name, court or city. Each club shows its members, its upcoming games and its home court.
- Clubs marked Approval let the admins read each request first.
Find a club by name, court or city. 2. Open the club
- A club has five tabs: Games, Discussion, Members, Leaderboard and About.
- The admins and mods are listed on the side, with the top players this month and the rules.
Every club has games, a discussion, members and a leaderboard. 3. See its games
- Games lists what's coming up, with the day, the court, the price and the spots left.
- A label shows when members get first pick or when a game is for members only.
- Members get a notification each time a new game is posted.

- Tap Join club to join an open club straight away.
- For a club that needs approval, tap Ask to join and answer the admins' questions. You get an email when they decide.
- An invite link from the club lets you in without waiting.
Some clubs ask a few questions first. 5. Members get first pick
- Many club games open to members first, from 12 hours to 3 days before they open to everyone.
- Not a member yet? Join the waitlist. When the members' window ends, you move in, in the order you joined, if there's room.
Members get first pick. Everyone else joins the waitlist. 6. Members only games
- Some games are for members only. Join the club to take a spot.
- Joining and paying work like any open play. See Joining open play.
Some games are for members only. 7. The leaderboard
- The leaderboard ranks members by the club games they played.
- Switch the range: the last 30, 60 or 90 days, a year, all time or your own dates.

- About shows how the club works, its home court and when it started.
- Read the rules before your first game. Admins can remove or ban members who break them.
