How add-ons work
How add-ons work on OpenCourt: rent a paddle, buy balls or add extra players while you book, later, or on their own, then pick them up at the desk.
1. What add-ons are
- Courts can offer rentals (like paddles or rackets), items to keep (like balls or water) and extra players.
- A rental is priced per booking or per hour. An item to keep is priced each.
- A court may have only a few of something, and may limit how many one person can take.

- After you pick your hours and tap Book now, the Add-ons step shows what the court offers for those hours.
- Pick how many you want, or skip. One payment covers the court and the add-ons.
- New to booking? Start with How booking works.
Add a rental or extra players, or skip. 3. Add them to a booking later
- Forgot the paddles? Open My bookings and tap Buy add-ons on the booking.
- Your booking's hours are used, so you only pick the add-ons and pay.
- You can do this until the booking starts.
Add them to a booking you already have. 4. Buy them on their own
- No booking needed. On the court's page, tap Buy add-ons only.
- Pick the day, and the hours if you're renting. You can buy up to 30 days ahead, like bookings.
- Your OpenCourt credits are used first, then pay the rest online.
Buy them on their own for a day and hours. 5. Pick them up at the desk
- You get a bell alert and an email when your add-ons are paid.
- Show the email, or My bookings, at the court's desk. The court marks them handed over.
- Add-ons you bought on their own are in the Add-ons tab of My bookings, each with a receipt.
- Add-ons can't be cancelled. If the court can't hand them over, it refunds them to the method you paid with. If your booking is refunded, its add-ons are refunded with it.
Show this at the desk to pick them up.
